Crisp & Green

crisp and green outfit

Crisp & Green saw my holiday display at the Foshay Tower and they reached out to me and asked me to create a look for them that reflected their brand and was made using their paper bags.

I was inspired by "The Cool Girl," This girl keeps up with the latest TikTok trend, drinks iced coffee year-round, cares about sustainability, and most importantly loves to eat at Crisp & Green. I wanted to play with patchwork and this idea that this was something thrifted and pieced together to create a unique look.

I did not have much time to complete this project so I kept it simple by making a short A-line mini skirt and vest. The vest was originally designed to be a cropped blazer with a laced closure. Paper is not the most flexible material and it would have been impossible to put on if I added sleeves (even if they were made out of fabric).
