Intersection Project

The main goal of this project was to think about apparel design in a way we were not familiar with. We are used to making clothes for the body, but this challenged us to design structures on the body. Each student selected a building that is well known for its unique architecture. The building I chose was the Louis Vuitton Foundation designed by Frank Gehry. I used the building as my inspiration to create paper structures as an alternative medium to sketching design ideas. Then, we each created a garment inspired from both our chosen building and paper structures.
